Class One journeyed for our very first class trip to Jenolan Caves. Here, we ventured through the Imperial Cave where we saw Lima Limestone's fossils and her friends the Stalagmites and Stalactites.
We went to the Blue Pool to see if we could spot the resident platypus, however we only saw his bubbles emerging from the deep pool. We camped at the Glenroy Cottage campground where the children enjoyed rock hopping over the river, climbing ancient wise old trees and roasting marshmallows over the campfire.
The next morning we awoke to the sound of rain pitter pattering upon our tents, so with raincoats and gumboots on the children splashed about in the puddles. When we arrived back at school, we enjoyed a class feast before heading home. Such a wonderful adventure!
